Healthy food with goat yoghurt

Have you ever tried to make healthy food with goat yoghurt? I recently discovered the existence of yoghurt made with goat milk. How? Because the Belgian brand Polle reached out to me to test their product and to create something yummy with it. As someone who likes goat cheese, I didn’t have to think twice about this and agreed on collaborating.

In the past few days I have been experimenting with Polle goat yoghurt and have created two yummy and easy recipes. Perfect to start your day, or to eat as post-workout meal or snack. Are you ready for some healthy food inspo? Here we go:

Healthy food with goat yoghurt

You can use Polle goat yoghurt as snack or breakfast, but you can also bake and cook with it! Ain’t that awesome?! 

Goat yoghurt with honey and grapes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of goat yoghurt
  • 1/2 tbsp honey
  • White and blue grapes
  • Crushed walnuts

Preparation:

  1. Cut the grapes into small pieces.
  2. Place some of the grapes on the bottom of a glass.
  3. Spoon 1/2 cup goat yogurt over it.
  4. Then add the second part of the grapes and scoop the rest of the yogurt over it.
  5. Finish with the crushed walnuts and a drizzle of honey.
  6. Enjoy your healthy snack!

Chocolate Chip Banana Pancakes topped with Goat Yoghurt Sauce

Healthy food with goat yoghurt

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 ml. Alpro Vanille (or another plant based milk)
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips
  • Honey
  • 1 cup of goat yoghurt
  • Fruits of your choice
  • Rasped coconut

Preparation:

  1. Preheat a pancake pan on a medium-high fire
  2. Mash the banana in a bowl and add the eggs.
  3. Add the vanilla milk, cinnamon, some honey and the chocolate chips. Stir under the banana-egg mixture.
  4. Melt some butter or heat some oil in the pancake pan.
  5. Scoop small heaps of the batter onto the pan.
  6. Bake your pancakes golden brown on both sides.
  7. In meantime prepare your topping by stirring the goat yoghurt and some honey in a bowl.
  8. Add the chocolate chip banana pancakes onto a plate and finish with small pieces of fruit. Cover with the honey-yoghurt sauce.
  9. Enjoy!
