Pranamat vs. Ajnamat, which one should you choose? In the last few weeks I’ve been sharing two different reviews about Pranamat ECO and Ajnamat. They both offered me one of their heavenly Organic Acupressure/ Therapeutic Massage Mats and that’s why I decided to share a comparison of Pranamat vs. Ajnamat. I know how hard it can be to find a brand that fits with your needs and wishes. I hope this review can help you with investing in your future acupressure products!
Why would you invest in something like Pranamat ECO or Ajnamat?
I’ve always dreamed of owning an Organic Acupressure Mat and was super happy when I received my first one from Ajnamat (read my review here). I couldn’t wait to try it out and was pretty amazed by the heavenly feeling afterwards.
When Pranamat reached out to me for a collaboration, I was pretty excited because this brand has been on my wishlist for 2 years! They offered me their therapeutic massage mat and pillow. I was super thrilled and couldn’t wait to try out their products (read my review here). I knew I already owned an acupressure mat, but wanted to see for myself if there’s a difference between Pranamat and Ajnamat, especially as there is a difference in price.
After talking to my fellow yogis (read: my favorite yoga challenge co-hosts) I was feeling ready to compare both brands and to share my honest review and opinion with you. So here we go!
Pranamat vs. AjnaMat
[table id=4 /]
To be honest it is hard to say which one is my favorite, because I am a fan of both brands. The mats are pretty the same, but you can feel a difference in quality. Pranamat is the more expensive one, while Ajnamat is affordable for everyone.
My recommendation:
If you feel like investing more in quality, than I would suggest you to take visit the website of Pranamat ECO. The look of their products is very beautiful. And you can feel why they are more expensive once you’ve received your order.
If you want to spend less money and receive a good product in return, then I would suggest you to check out the website of Ajnamat. I really liked the fact that the mat comes in a cute portable bag. Now I can take it with me on the go.
The feeling afterwards…
If I have to be honest, I don’t notice a big difference in the after-feeling. Both mats provide a heavenly feeling and you can defenitely feel the release of tension after only a few minutes.
It is recommended to use your mats and pillow for at least 5 minutes per day. But you can stay on it for much longer. And no, the spikes won’t pierce your skin if you use it with care.
I for example like to lie down on it when I’m watching my favorite tv-shows or during Savasana (corpse pose) and I sit on it before and after my yoga practice.
I hope this review gives you more clarity in which mat you can invest. If you’d ever have any questions regarding Ajnamat vs. Pranamat ECO, you can always reach out to me or to their Support Team.
