Brownies – two yummy recipes

Do you also love brownies as much as I do? If you said “yes”, then I have wonderful news for you. Today I am sharing not one, but two recipes to bake some delicious Brownies!

To be honest I was quite shocked when I looked for Brownie recipes on this blog. How was it possible that I never shared a “normal brownie recipe”?! I’ve made all kinds of brownies (with Tony’s, a combination of peanut butter and chocolate, Nutella, Speculaas,..), except for the basic ones. That meant I had to change this situation and decided to bake some Brownies for two weeks straight.

1) Brownies – with 3 sugars

brownies with 3 kinds of sugar

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 100 g butter
  • 75 g white sugar
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 30 g vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g self-raising flour
  • pinch of salt

  1. Preheat an oven to 180°C.
  2. Butter a baking tin and sprinkle some flour to avoid sticking.
  3. Break or cut the chocolate and butter into pieces and melt it together “au bain-marie”. Stir until you have a fluid mixture.
  4. Take a mixing bowl and break the eggs. Add the three kinds of sugars and a pinch of salt. Beat or mix until the whole mixture starts to foam.
  5. Poor the mixture of chocolate and butter to the foamy mixture. Beat until you get a smooth and liquid mixture.
  6. Sieve the flour and stir under the brownie mixture.
  7. Poor the batter into a baking tin.
  8. Place the form into the preheated oven en bake the brownies for 30-35 minutes.
  9. Once ready, let the brownies cool off until you can remove them from the form.
  10. Cut the yummy looking brownies into 15 pieces and enjoy!
