Apple cupcakes are the perfect guilty pleasure during grey and cold Autumn days. Recept: Appel Cupcakes
Ingredients
375 g self-raising flour
3 apples
125 g (light brown) sugar
2 eggs
160 g butter
250 ml milk
1 kl cinnamon (optional)
Necessities

paper cupcake cups
mixing bowl
wooden spoon
2 small bowls
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200°C (or 210°C depending on the type of oven).
Put the butter in a small bowl and melt for a few seconds in the microwave.
Sift the flour into a bowl and mix with the sugar and cinnamon. Make a well in it.
Beat the eggs together with the milk.
Pour the mixture into the well and add the melted butter.
Mix everything together with a wooden spoon.
Peel the apples, cut into fine pieces and add to the cupcake batter.
Place the paper cupcake cups in the baking tin.
Fill them for 3/4 with batter.
Put in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Let the apple cupcakes cool on a baking rack or serve warm with a hot cup of coffee or tea.
